Broward College Transfer Agreements

transfer-banner.jpg

Transfer Agreements, also known as Articulation Agreements, outline which lower level courses students are required to take in order to experience a smooth transition into a bachelor’s degree program. Broward College has partnered with public and private institutions to provide our students with a variety of transfer options.

2+2 Statewide Articulation Agreement

BC Associates Degree Name of Bachelor's Program Florida College/University Summary of Agreement
Associate in Arts (AA) Degree Various** State colleges offering bachelor degrees or a state university Students who have received an AA degree from an institution within the Florida College System are guaranteed admission with 60 semester hours into the State University System. HOWEVER, admission into a specific program at a given university may not be assured. Additionally, some degree programs require specific lower division coursework outside of common prerequisites. Depending upon a student’s course selection, the 60 hours earned in the A.A. will be accepted; however, not all of the credit may apply towards a student’s degree program. Visit http://www.fldoe.org/policy/articulation for more information.
**NOTE:  Some exceptions apply such as limited access programs, teacher certification programs, and programs requiring an audition for acceptance. You are strongly encouraged to meet with a BC Academic Advisor to create an education plan for transfer into the upper division.
