We can connect you with beneficial campus and community resources and even assist you with setting up a tutoring appointment. Seahawk Support’s Early Alert System - Seahawk Support’s Early Alert System- Broward College is committed to providing a personal educational experience to each student by providing many educational opportunities and assistance to students who show signs of struggling in the classroom. The Early Alert System is designed to identify students who may benefit from additional support inside and outside the classroom.
 
Peer Advocate– current Broward College students can assist first year in college students by becoming a peer mentor.​​​​
 

 Advisement/Counseling – assists with planning your academic schedule and other related issues.

Career Center – provides career counseling, vocational and personality testing and information on colleges/universities and careers.

Disability Services – you may be eligible to receive some additional assistance with appropriate documentation.

Academic Success Center – provides free tutoring and academic learning labs for most general education classes.

StudentLingo -series of interactive on-demand video workshops, action plans, and valuable resources to help you achieve your academic, personal and career goals.

Life is full of challenges. Seahawk Support is an online Resource Guide that may help you overcome your challenges and be successful inside and outside of the classroom.

Contact your Coach: ability to send a quick message to your Advisor/Coach.
 
Search for Resources: you can select a specific challenge you may be facing or search by keyword to find relevant resources to address your challenge.

Student Success Coaches at Broward College help students identify career goals, excel in coursework, and ultimately graduate as proud Seahawk alumni. Coaches’ partner with students to develop success plans to improve time management, goal setting, study skills, financial awareness and campus involvement. The Academic Success Center (ASC) is designed to assist you with the resources you will need to reach your full academic potential and be successful in your classes. The ASC offers discipline specific labs and tutors to help you in most of your general education classes.
 
Smarthinking.com provides students with online tutoring that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Connect to a live educator and get the assistance you need. You can connect from any computer with internet access.

​Each semester Broward College provides workshops for students designed to enhance your knowledge inside and outside of the classroom. Workshop cover a variety of topics including study skills, stress/anxiety, finances, campus involvement, etc. You can access on demand workshops by visiting StudentLingo.
