Tornado touches down on
North Campus

On Jan. 27, early in the gray Wednesday morning, the frigid winds of a tornado buffeted Broward College’s North Campus. The tornado’s 45 mph plus winds damaged vehicles, damaged property and caused traffic delays. The winds peaked at around 100 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
